Booking Page

A booking page is the calendar step of a high-ticket funnel, shown only after a prospect passes the application, where they pick a time for the sales call.

Where does the booking page go in a high-ticket funnel?

After the application, never in place of it. In the funnels me and my team build, the button on the landing page opens the application, and only people who pass it see the calendar. Anyone who doesn't goes to a page saying you can't help them, so they never take a slot.

The order changes every number after it. A bare calendar with no qualification books roughly 60% of clicks, which looks great until your closers spend the week finding out who wasn't a buyer. Put the application first and about 20% of leads book, but in my accounts those people show up at around 80% and close at about a third.

What's a good booking rate?

It depends on what sits in front of the calendar, so judge it against the right shape.

Funnel shape Who sees the booking page Booking rate in my accounts What happens next
Calendar first Everyone who clicks About 60% of clicks Closers qualify people live, at your most expensive hourly rate
Application first Only people who qualify About 20% of leads Around 80% show, about a third close

My floor for the stage itself is 60% of applications qualifying and booking. Out of 35 applications, I want 21 on the calendar. A lower booking rate isn't bad on its own: a brand-new agency offer selling to strangers booked 129 calls at $271.91 each through an application-first page, and those calls turned $35,076 in ad spend into $168,000 in revenue.

How far out should the booking page offer slots?

Same week only, because the distance between the booking and the call kills conviction. If your soonest opening is two weeks away, some of the people who would have booked simply don't.

Leave a little room, though. In the SaaS funnel we run for clients, the earliest anyone can book is 2 days later. That tells the prospect your calendar is full, and it leaves time to send emails summarizing the VSL and the confirmation page, so they arrive educated instead of cold.

What should happen right after someone books?

Send them to a confirmation page, not a plain thank-you: 5 to 20 short videos of 1 to 3 minutes each answering what your closer hears on almost every call. The pre-call sequence starts from there. On the day, confirm the call by message an hour or two before, with the meeting link in the message so they don't have to go looking for it.

FAQ

Should the booking page come before or after the application?

After. Showing the calendar first books more people, but your closers do the qualifying live. Showing it only to qualified applicants means fewer bookings with better show and close rates.

Should a booking page show slots weeks ahead?

No. Offer same-week slots only, because the longer the gap between the booking and the call, the more conviction the prospect loses.
